As in developed countries, in Brazil, cancer is already the leading cause of death due to illness among children and adolescents from 1 to 19 years. Parents should be alert to the fact that children doesn’t invent symptoms and that at the sign of some abnormality, the child need to be taken to the doctor to report the progression of the condition, which in most cases, the symptoms are related to diseases that occur in childhood, but even so, the visit to a specialist shouldn’t be discarded.
